BC Rebate Program Guide
Review official CleanBC, BC Hydro, and FortisBC program information before planning your BC home project. Program administrators make all final eligibility, funding, and rebate-amount decisions.
BC Hydro heat pump rebates and limited-time bonus
BC Hydro offers up to $4,000 for whole home heating or up to $1,500 for partial home heating when you replace electric heating with an eligible air source heat pump. For a limited time, BC Hydro adds a bonus rebate of $1,000 for whole home heating or $500 for partial home heating. The installation must be completed, invoiced and fully paid between August 1 and October 31, 2026, and a complete application submitted by November 30, 2026. Bonus funding is first-come, first-served while funds last, and an HPCN member must do the installation. Homes in select postal codes may also get a community-based top-up. BC Hydro makes all final eligibility and rebate decisions. Full terms: BC Hydro heat pump rebates.
FortisBC dual fuel heating rebate

FortisBC also lists a $300 two-upgrade bonus when you add another eligible Home Renovation Rebate upgrade. Terms, funding, equipment, documentation and final approval are FortisBC decisions.
